Foster & Somers take National Squash Titles…

Patrick Foster defeated Colin Whitney in the Men’s Final 11-3, 11-5, 11-7 whilst Denise Sommers regained her Ladies title beating defending champ Suzy Stones 11-3, 11-4, 11-5.
The Men’s Vets title went to Eugene Bothello who beat Andy McComb in a pulsating match 12-10, 11-13, 14-12, 9-11, 12-10 and Denise Kyme retained the Ladies Vets title with a 11-5, 11-7, 11-5 win over Kim Morbey.

Digicel 3G+ Bermuda National Squash Championships 2010 Draws released…. **Chase Toogood out of the draw**

Check out the draws for the this years championship by visiting the official
Chase Toogood has withdrawn from the championships so the draw has been altered moving Thomas Sherratt into the 3/4 seed position, Richard Brewer to 5/8 seed, Anthony White in 9/16 and Rob Hopping in to the 17/32 seed bracket.
Please re check you match times for changes to the original schedule.

Micah Franklin in the papers..

Micah has had a pretty succesfull time recently winning the Rubis Champs in September, the AF Smith Teams in November and reaching the club Champs final in December. He then went on to win through to the last 16 in the US Open and then return to Bermuda to win the National Junior Championships as well!!
Micah’s successes have even made the front page of the Royal Gazette recently.. click here to view.
He has also been nominated for the Bermuda Sun’s Young Sports Personality of the year!! To vote for Micah and read the story click here.
