After some confusion yesterday I posted a story about Junior CASA dates and venues… it turns out the country involved thought I was asking about Senior CASA!!
Senior CASA 2009
Host Country – Trinidad & Tobago
Dates – August 13-23rd
Junior CASA 2009
Host Country – Barbados (to be confirmed)
Dates – (To be confirmed)
Trinidad & Tobago announced today that it will be hosting the Junior Caribbean Championships this summer with the scheduled dates to be August 13-23rd.
The tournament had originally been planned for July and was to be hosted by Barbados.
More details are to follow soon…

Day 1 of the PC Bikes GameTime National Championships complete

The first of two days play was completed at the BSRA today in the PC Bikes GameTime National Junior Squash Championships 2008.
After 40 matches we are down to the semi final and finals tomorrow. Play begins at 10.00am with the Boys Under 19 Final scheduled for 3.20pm.

Nick Kyme beat Thomas Sherratt 11-3, 11-5, 11-5 to win the Igility group BSRA Club Championships 2008. Leah Bishop retained her title by beating Liz Martin in straight sets…

Igility Group Club Championships… Day 6 Kyme, Sherratt, Bishop & Martin through to the finals

An exciting nights play at the Igility Group BSRA Club Championships saw Nick Kyme, Thomas Sherratt, Leah Bishop and Liz Martin make it through to the open Finals whilst John Stout overcame Colin Alexander and Norman Furtado beat Phil Barnes to make the Men’s Vets Final.

Saturday 13th is finals night with the BSRA Xmas Party to follow the presentations. If you are up for a great nights squash and a fantastic party come down to the BSRA tomorrow night!

Barnes and Robinson get their monies worth!

After being drawn to play against each other in the Men’s Classic Plate and in the Veterans 1st round Phil Barnes and Bruce Robinson played one ‘super match’ to decide both competition results…. the outcome?.. a five game thriller with Barnes going two up, Robinson pulling it back to 2-2 and Barnes putting the final nail in the coffin to take it 11-6 in the fifth!
